Research of Noblick(Nabilek)line by Warren A Noblick since 1973 The surname Noblick is the shortened
 Anglicized 2 syllable

The earliest record of this name is 1442 through research in Baptismal ,tax, marriage and land records. The family originated in Mosonmagyaravor Gyor-Sopron Moson county Hungary and Budapest Hungary. This was confirmed in 2011 by David Nabiek who is a Hungarian citizen.I met him on Facebook
It has been very difficult to trace my paternal lines due to the change of spelling of my sirname and rumors. The older members of the family are all dead now and left very little information.Due to the negative stereotypes of Eastern European's in Ohio my family has not embraced the truth.Yes it is true that they stated Weisellburg AustiaHungary as the origins of the family. What they didn't know at that time was Hungarian counties and towns were all given Germanic names. And Wieselburg is the name for Mosonmagyaravor Hungary(Magyarorszag).

Research of the Weber family line by Warren A Noblick

I still have distant relatives in McConnelsville Morgan county Ohio. That I need to contact to fill in the blanks for my paternal grandmother Beulah Irene Noblick(Morris).

My maternal Grandfather Warren Virgil Weber( who am I am named for) came from a Weber and Simon line from Lignieres Neuchatel Switzerland.Jean Weber and Julia Simon

The Weber and Junipers have a rich history in Athens county Ohio. They didn't stay there though. They moved to find work in Licking county,Montgumery county,Scioto county and Senaca county in Ohio.
Garnet Ethel Weber(Weiss) my maternal grandmother has a rich family history in Licking county Ohio. The Spicer's and Ritter's were some of the first setters in Muskingum and Licking county Ohio. They came here from Germany and England through Virginia Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Many in my family are first families of Ohio. They have fought in every war from The revolutionary war,Civil war and I served during the Vietnam war.If anybody can claim to be a son of Ohio,I certainly can

My wife is Patricia Ann Noblick(Petty)originally from Gahanna Jefferson township Franklin county Ohio. Also has a very rich history having many pioneers and early settlers in Ohio. They were rugged and hard working people of the land. The Pettys have a rich history in Colmbiana and Meigs county Ohio. They worked the Ohio river and lived through its flooding. The Petty's have a rich and interesting heritage going back through Colonial Virgina and Yorkshire England. It was hard at times to follow there history because so many in the family had the same name.Elizabeth,Christopher Dudley William are repeated through out the generations. The Poth Family and the Sauder family were German pioneers that founded much of eastern and central Franklin county.Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna was founded by both sides of my wife's family. Many of the roads are named for people in Patty's extended family in Franklin county. The Petty line authenticated and researched by Warren A Noblick. The Poth and Souder line researched by the late Paul Sauder and Kathy Schaffer-Fletcher.Kathy is the daughter of Mildred Elonore Schaffer(Poth).

This site is still being updated with more
information and dates If you have any new information or corrections feel free to contact me at wanoblick@yahoo.com.Genealogy has always fascinated me. For the last 40 years I have
tried to sort through the stories that my family has passed down. At times some of these stories have led me on a wild goose chase, I still have a lot to learn and document on this site, but I have included documentation here to prove that the information here is correct. My goal was to debunk many of the rumors, members of my family still believe to this day. And through research I have found many other branches of this family tree that we here in Ohio never knew about. Most of us believed that our family is located only in the Newark Ohio area. Some of the families reside in Ohio.Pennsylvania,New
 Jersey,Connecticut,Massachusetts,Virginia,Montana,California, Washington,North Carolina,Hawaii,Florida,Illinois,Kentucky,Missouri,Rhode Island, and Minnesota
